All-Time Favorite Pesto.

This pesto is full of good protein, calcium and so tasty. Make sure to double up on the ingredients and make a bigger batch because you’ll want to store some in the freezer for later. You can enjoy it as a dip, with steamed vegetables, pasta and much more. Try it.


1 cup kale

1 cup arugula

1 cup basil

1/2 cup soaked cashews or walnuts (20 minutes soaked in water)

1 cup olive oil

1 tsp sea salt 

3-4 garlic cloves

crushed red chili flakes (for garnish and spice kick)

Directions: Soak cashews or walnuts for roughly 20 minutes in water. Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend. Pour in more olive oil for the consistency you prefer and add red chili flakes for a little kick. Enjoy!
